In the recent past, this site has had a rather persistent visitor claim that the images we use on this webiste are over-sexualized and demeaning to women.  Now, the admins certainly have no intention of offending those that we wish to retain as members, so we had a thorough review of the images in question.

The image in question happens to be the picture in the top left of the website, which shows a man and two women.  The picture was chosen for this site by a woman, after reviewing many other possibilities.  However, in the interest of fairness, we decided to ask the opinion of our friends and family, people that are and are not polyamorous, people that are open to our lifestyle, and people that are relatively homophobic.

In all cases, we asked them what their general thoughts on the picture might be, and then asked them if there was anything offensive about the picture.  In all cases, every single one, we were asked what could be offensive about a picture of a clothed male with two clothed females. 

As for the accusation that this image was demeaning to women, we found that outright absurd.  The image shows two women and a guy, none of which seem to be forced into the situation. 

Unfortunately, no matter what image we chose for the website, there will be somebody offended by it.  We could put up an image based on any particular type of polyamorous relationship, and there would be somebody upset because it doesn't reflect the specific type of relationship they are looking for.

Finally, that image was chosen because it reflected the type of relationship that the admins of this website are currently involved in.  While not everyone is involved in or looking for an MFF triad, this is one of the possible poly relationship combinations.

It is possible that, in the future, we may add additional images to the banner, in order to show different types of poly relationships, it is not currently financially feasable for this free poly dating site to purchase the many different images we would require for such an endeavor.

In conclusion, while we are working to make this site inclusive to all poly relationships, if you feel offended by the image of one particular type of poly relationship, you might be happier elsewhere.
